Retrobirds Music is a family-run workshop at the southernmost tip of Hawai‘i, specializing in handmade boutique instruments of the highest grade.

Behind the brand is second-generation luthier Tristan White and his wife Sofia White. At Retrobirds Music we believe in honoring the beauty of vintage design classics, high quality materials, as well as thoughtful storytelling through art.

Tristan grew up in a blossoming luthier community on the West coast, surrounded by some of the finest builders in the world — including his father, Woodley White of the renowned White Guitars and Ukulele Pu‘uwai — a legacy that continues to shape every instrument he creates.
